Sea Dreams was sold at a fundraising auction for Francis Lauer Youth Services, Mason City, IA. “It’s all about the kids,” commented Julie Stauffacher, Event Organizer. Thus the artist wanted to invoke a feeling of innocence, peace, and contemplation of the future for our children. The young girl dreams hopefully of her life’s potential, “listening” to the ocean of possibilities pictured in the sea shell.
